Mahogany Wood

Our mahogany wood is comes from state-owned production forest Mahogany in Indonesia. It has a fine, even grain pattern that contributes to its elegant appearance. It is resistant to wear and tear. Less likely to warp, crack, or deform when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature.
Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Classic mahogany woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Glossy
Glossy clear coat reflect the most light, providing a bright sheen. This type of finish finishes prove durable and scrubbable, offering high resistance to moisture.

Classic bedside handcrafted of mahogany wood
Classic style bedside cabinet handcrafted of mahogany solid wood. Plain solid wood top leaf decorated with simple profile edge on three sides fixed on to curly bracket front rail. The piece features an open storage top most, a small drawer middle, and a compartment enclosed by 2 doors bottom.
Our craftsman handcrafted the bedside using traditional furniture construction and joinery. The top leaf fastened to the top rail using wooden clips and screws to allow cross grain extracting and contracting. The bedside structures using tenon mortise joinery reinforced with dowel.
Traditional style
The bedside employs traditional style raised panels inserted inside profile edge frame on the sides and front doors. The top leaf extended out decorated with profile on the edges, fastened onto the molding at the top rails.
On the front side, the bedside has an open storage on top of a small drawer at the middle and 2 doors compartment at the bottom. Left and right sides enclosed with raised panels floating inside the bedside structures, while the back side enclosed by flat panel with loose screws fastener.
Compartments
The open storage on the front side top most decorated with profile edge curly bracket shape top rail. The middle drawer assembled with dovetail joinery rails, and floating solid wood board base. A solid brass knob fixed on the front side to ease pulling out the drawer.
The bottom compartment enclosed by 2 doors assembled of raised panels inside profile edges frame. The doors fixed to the front stiles using solid brass hinges, 2 solid brass knobs fixed on the central frames as door handles.
Block base
The bedside stand on a block base foot. The base highlighted with two rows bead molding top and single line molding bottom. The front side base has a curved top hole to reduce the humidity under the bedside.
We use sustainable harvested mahogany wood to build the bedside, kiln dried into 8% moisture contents and weathered properly. Sanded with several grits of sandpaper, and apply finishes according to customer request.
