Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Classic mahogany woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

The Raffles dining table is handcrafted of Indonesian mahogany wood harvested from state-owned production forest in Java island. The table features a smooth plain wood top leaf assembled of solid wood planks using loose tongue joint.
The top leaf attached to the table apron using wooden clips to allow the solid wood movement while it contracting and extracting through seasons.
Shipped in flat pack the table using corner brace joint bracket fastener legs ensure you can easily assemble the dining table.
