Mahogany is known for its rich, reddish-brown color, fine grain, and durability, which make it a popular choice for high-quality furniture and cabinetry. Our mahogany wood is comes from state-owned production forest Mahogany in Indonesia. It has a fine, even grain pattern that contributes to its elegant appearance. It is resistant to wear and tear. Less likely to warp, crack, or deform when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature.
Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Classic mahogany woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

Smooth mahogany comforting seat
The smoothness of mahogany wood surface and stained rattan wicker perfectly mixing on the regency mahogany chair. The piece is handcrafted out of production forest harvested wood into a classic style furniture piece of the regency period.
Rattan wicker hand woven directly onto the backrest rectangular frame, stained to reduce the luster of the rattan skin. The chair seat is made of wooden frame upholstered with foam and fabric into removable pad inserted inside the seat rails.
Wood turning front legs and plain back legs reinforced with wooden turning H stretcher stand on the floor with plastic foot protector to support the chair.

The wood is kiln dried into 12% moisture contents (inside the kiln dry facility), may increase into 15 - 18% moisture contents while we working on it.
