Our mahogany wood is comes from state-owned production forest Mahogany in Indonesia. It has a fine, even grain pattern that contributes to its elegant appearance. It is resistant to wear and tear. Less likely to warp, crack, or deform when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature.
Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Salak brown woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

English vintage bookcase handcrafted of mahogany solid wood. 2 glass doors hutch on top of 2 solid wood doors sideboard base. Solid wood shelves inside hutch and sideboard.
The vintage bookcase is handcrafted of Indonesian mahogany wood harvested from sustainable forest. Our builder using traditional constructions and methods to build the pieces, this is to allow the solid wood movement in any seasons.
The bookcase assembled of two sections, a hutch stacked on top of a sideboard. The molding profile at the bottom edges of the hutch matching the profiled edges of the side board top leaf.
Hutch
The hutch section has two glass doors at the front mounted to the hutch using solid brass hinges. The door assembled of edge profiles frame, 2 center rails and a center stile divide the glass into 6 panels. Raised panel at left and right sides, flat panels back side.
The hutch has 2 solid wood shelves in same height with the doors center rails.
A crown molding top decorated the hutch at the top most.
Sideboard
The cabinet base is a sideboard contain a n adjustable height solid wood shelf inside. Two doors at the front side using raised panels with edge profile frame, mounted to the sideboard using butt hinges.
Edges profile solid wood top leaf, raised edges sides. The sideboard has traditional block base mitered joint corner, edge profiles.
