Mahogany Wood

Our mahogany wood is comes from state-owned production forest Mahogany in Indonesia. It has a fine, even grain pattern that contributes to its elegant appearance. It is resistant to wear and tear. Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Walnut woodstain
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Glossy
Glossy clear coat reflect the most light, providing a bright sheen. This type of finish finishes prove durable and scrubbable, offering high resistance to moisture.

Made to French classic writing desk, our bureau plat is handcrafted from Indonesian mahogany. It features cabriole legs with carved knees and scrolling legs, similar to the furniture design of the Louis XV period.
Leather inlay top
Made to provide you with a luxurious and comfortable work surface, our bureau plat top is inlaid with authentic leather. The leather inlay panels are inserted inside profile edges and rounded four corners wooden frame.
The desktop inlay also available in various colors selection. Also faux leather and custom inlay available on your request.
Five drawers
The bureau plat has five drawers under the desktop, a large central drawer, and two small drawers on either side. The drawer front is accented with bead molding edges, a bracker plate installed as a pull.
All of five drawers are assembled with dovetail joints and floating panel bottom.
Rounded corners
Four corners of the bureau top are rounded and projected out covering top side of the the legs. A small tray made of wood plank inserted under the top leaf frame using a brass knob as a pull.
Wood carving
The top leaf apron accented with teardrops at the bottom edges connected all four cabriole legs. An acanthus leav carved on the legs knee.
