Finishes
Treatment : Fine sanding
We apply multiple sanding treatments to furniture wood surface. Starting from 180-200 grit to remove visible roughness or imperfections of the wood surface, and progressively apply finer grits until the wood has a beautifully smooth surface
Color : Black paint
We apply a sanding sealer to our furniture before painting or staining the wood surface. The purpose is to fill and seal the pores of the wood, creating a smoother and more even surface, allowing for a smoother final finish, and prevent moisture absorption.
Clear coat : Satin
Also called egg-shel this type of clear coat provides a silky smooth finish retains its pearl-like sheen when dry, reflects more light than matte and stands up well to washing

A French classic bureau remade with teak solid wood, 3 drawers with brass pulls, steel runners. Rectangle top leaf with profiled edges, smooth surface and natural finish. Front apron of the table consisting 3 drawers, center drawers is smaller than left and right drawers.
Cabriole four legs with corner bracket waved from legs to the end of center drawer. Concave drawer front similar to the top leaf apron. The legs, apron, and drawers finished with black paint, distressed edges.
Beautifully handmade, i love the cabriole legs shape continued from the aprons.

Although the desk was painted with oil paint, the wood grains is obviously shown. The cabriole legs, black color, and wood grains made the table look strong yet elegant. The top leaf table was smooth sanded, natural without coloring, top coated with nitrocellulose to make it perfect for writing.
